At the Boston Lesbigay Urban Foundation, we are dedicated to creating a more inclusive and supportive society for the LGBTQ+ community in the Greater Boston area. With a passionate commitment to empowerment, celebration, and advocacy, we work tirelessly to ensure that all individuals feel seen, heard, and valued.

BLU Cares
Reentry workforce development program:
Assisting formerly incarcerated individuals with reintegration into society by providing job training and employment opportunities for a successful transition back into the workforce.

Mentorship program
Join Our mentorship Program Starting December 2023

Individual willing to meet with a mentor twice a month.
We are a community-based mentorship program aiming at promoting positivity, confidence, and unity amongst our LGBTQ+ youth.

FOOD DESTIGMATIZATION
PROGRAM
Working towards eliminating the stigma around food insecurity by raising awareness, providing resources, and promoting empathy
and understanding within the community.

Empowering the LGBTQ+ community through networking events, outreach initiatives, and educational workshops, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.

VIRTUAL GROUPS
Providing virtual support groups exclusively for trans men of color on the first and third Sunday of each month, fostering a safe
space for sharing experiences and building connections.

A comprehensive program offering various services and supporting a single accessible location, focusing on addressing the needs of the LGBTQ+ community in an inclusive and welcoming setting.

Day JaVu Saturdays
Day Javu Saturdays provides a safe space every 1st Saturday of the month to celebrate, have fun, and feel affirmed.

Black Pride
Our intention in hosting Boston Black Pride is to not only be a catalyst for change in the community but also an organization that brings individuals together and allows individuals to create long lasting healthy relationships as their true authentic selves through urban entertainment and events.
